Grid-Connected Systems – Photovoltaic Power Plants
Thanks to the various
regional, state and European financing programmes, it is possible
to install GRID-CONNECTED PHOTOVOLTAIC systems in Italy too
for some years.

This technology allows to use the national
electric grid as an energy accumulator; in fact the GRID-connected
pv systems produce energy during the day and they put
into the grid the surplus energy, not directly used by
the customer, who can use it again when necessary, for
ex. during the night. In this way there are a lot of

can add the power produced by the photovoltaic
system to the power supplied by the
public electric grid (ENEL). |

grid administrator has production
localized systems; this fact avoids
expenses for the implementation of

insufficient for the increasing daily

summer the peak of energy
demand (great use of conditioning systems)
is lower: more sun means more production
of the photovoltaic systems. |
